About Me
I'm a mother to two children 15 and 11. We have a fun family home with two cats, a dog. I can offer caring childcare within our family home with excellent EYFS provision. I can be flexible with hours and days so please contact if you have a request.
My Experience
I am an Early Years practitioner with twenty years experience with five years running a school based nursery with a cohort of 56. I am a qualified teacher.
My Qualifications
Recent Ofsted graded as STRING STANDARD IN ALL AREAS. Qualified teacher status and twenty years teaching experience including nursery teaching and of course raising my own children as well as child minding for friends and family.
My Availability
From July 2027, I will have a Monday and Wednesday available, all day. Plus availability for non term time care.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Non funded and non term time £6.50 per hr.
I do offer funding for 9 months plus, 2 year olds and 3/4 year olds.
My Local Schools
This childminder has not yet informed us whether or not they provide any drop off or pick up services at local schools.

We’ve been incredibly lucky to have had Carly to care for our son over the past 13 months. He has ASD and speech delay, and the progress he has made during his time with her has been absolutely amazing.
When he first started, he had limited speech and found social interaction quite difficult. Thanks to Carly’s patience, understanding, and dedication, he is now using a wide variety of words and forming small sentences. Even more heartwarming is seeing how his confidence has grown — he now plays with and engages with his peers, something that once felt out of reach. She is now working on his writing skills in preparation for him starting school in September.
She sends us photos every day, keeping us updated with everything he’s been up to, which is so reassuring and lovely to see. She regularly takes him on trips, which he absolutely loves, especially being outside — one of his favourite things. It’s clear how much thought and care she puts into planning activities that he enjoys and benefits from.
Most importantly, he absolutely adores her. He looks forward to seeing her each day, and as parents, that means the world to us. Carly has made such a positive impact on his development and happiness, and we truly cannot praise her enough. This is why we have made the decision to have him be with her during the school holidays going forward.
We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family, especially those with children who may need a little extra support — she’s been everything we hoped for and so much more.
