About Me
I am currently taking some time off from my nhs job as a midwife. I have always loved looking after children and babies and have a lot of experience doing so. I am someone who is very empathetic, caring, responsible and hard working. My preference at the moment is to work as a night nanny because I particularly enjoy caring for newborns, I have a wealth of skills and experience in this area and am passionate about providing new mothers with the support, advice and reassurance they require to get off to a good start. I am also available to do ad hoc babysitting jobs for local families.
My Experience
I have worked as an after school nanny since I was 16 years old caring for children of different ages and abilities. I have special needs experience and have looked after children with Asperger’s and developmental delays. For almost 2 years I worked as a nanny caring for a 6 month old baby. Completing a midwifery degree in 2019 has given me the knowledge and expertise to care for newborns and has also given me the confidence to empower, support and educate new mothers during this difficult period. I am able to help in anyway required which could include giving advice, providing breastfeeding support, helping to establish a good routine or caring for baby whilst mum and dad get some sleep.
My Qualifications
Bsc Midwifery degree. First aid training for adults, children and newborns. Breastfeeding support training.
My Availability
Available most evenings and could be available occasional daytimes too providing I can arrange dog care for my cockapoo.

Georgina provided night nurse support for our baby boy when he was 6-7 months old. As well as taking excellent care of him and giving us a break after months of really broken sleep, Georgina was so supportive and encouraging and gave us lots of helpful guidance and support around gentle. no-cry sleep training. We were worried that our baby was too old to have someone they didn't know come in, but Georgina was wonderful with him, we trusted her completely, and her support really transformed our baby's night sleep. Would whole heartedly recommend!
