About Me

My name is Gemma Simpson @ Noah’s Ark Childminding, I am based in North Anston I have a husband called Darren and 3 beautiful children and one that lives in the stars. I am a keen learner and I’m always looking at new ways to develop my skills and knowledge.
I also enjoy crafting over the years I’ve made various stimulating resources from tree for my small world to different role play setups.

My Experience

I have worked in various areas of childcare, these include schools as a teaching assistant, private nurseries with children from babies to preschool, foundation Unit & preschools, nannying and working aboard a cruise as a youth activities counsellor . I took a carer pause while I spent time at home with our own children. Which brings us to now where I have embarked upon starting a business as a childminder.

My Qualifications

BTEC National Diploma in childcare
NVQ level 2 in food and Drink
Pre-registration portfolio in childminding
12hour Paediatric First aid
Prevent Awareness Course
Level 2 food safety and hygiene for catering
Level 2 & 3 Safeguarding children
0-5 speech, language & Communication Course.

My Availability

I offer care from 7.30am until 6pm
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
And on a Wednesday 7.30-9.00 (before school) and 3.30-6pm (After school)
