About Me
My names Heidi and I am looking to become a nanny and help children blossom as they grow up. I love the outdoors and could share my love for this with the children, from walks to playing in the park, as it’s coming up to winter it’s a great opportunity to bring the outside in and use natural resources from walks for creative uses, such as leaf printing etc ! I also love getting stuck into a book with the children as it helps with their learning and expanding their speach!
My Experience
I have experience in a nursery of looking after 6 months-2 year olds, I have got a routine with the children in my care and the children are use to the routine and know when different parts of the days are. I also have 6 focus children in my nursery where I track there development in all the key area; social and emotional, physical, communication and language and work closely with the parents to help there child progress in any areas they need help with. I have also got a small amount of experience working with 3-5 year olds in another setting where I put together creative activities for the children and got the children to help me collect items from the garden to make sensory trays and art work. This was the children’s favourite part of the day as they could get stuck into an activity!
My Qualifications
I have an Anaphylaxis certificate and also have a paediatric first aid trained certificate
My Availability
I am able to work all week and the occasional Saturday if planned in advance
