I am a mum to a four year old and a ten month old (as I write this in Dec 2023).
My Requirements
I am looking for an after school nanny or a childminder from Jan 2024 to pick up our daughter from school daily.
If we have an afterschool nanny, we would like them to pick our daughter up from school (or afterschool club) and (very occasionally) our son from nursery and look after them until we get home. School and nursery are at two separate locations, around a ten minute drive apart. The job would mainly involve driving our daughter home, feeding her a snack or tea depending on the time of the day, and providing basic cares. If we are also asking you to pick up/look after our son, it would also involve nappy changes +/- bath etc. as and when required - but that would not be a regular requirement. This is likely to be a medium to long term job, and we hope to find someone reliable and trustworthy that we can build a relationship with, and who could potentially help us out with childcare during school holidays if required.
In the case of a childminder, we would only require school pickup for our daughter and we would not expect them to look after the little one.
