Hello! My name is Kailani and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I have both 'outstanding' and 'good' qualities and overall I have been rated "Good" by Ofsted in 2025.
My setting provides a warm and welcoming environment for children and parents/carers. I have many years of childcare experience (including my own). I am married and have three beautiful children (28, 14 & 12 years old).
In my setting we take regular trips to the play groups, soft play, parks, and the library. In the holidays we also go to the farm and other various outings. I provide plenty of arts and crafts, reading, dancing, numeracy, gardening, and many more, so the fun and learning never ends!
I live in a 4 bedroom house which has a large child friendly garden. There is a separate playroom for the children. I live very close to Creswick primary school.
The bus stop is only 5mins from the house and Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield train stations are closest to me.
My Experience
I worked for various under fives' nurseries in London.
I am also a qualified Pharmacy Technician therefore have experience in medicine and health issues such as asthma, diabetes, allergy, etc.
I have up to date knowledge and training in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). There are seven areas of learning and development which is implemented in everyday activities. Their development gets recorded and shared with parents.

Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5.30pm
Flexible hours
Extra hours such as earlier start and late collection can be discussed.

Kailani has taken care of my son over the past 3 years. Initially one day a week when he was around a year old, and then he returned full time around two years old until starting school nursery this September.
Kailani helped Joey prepare for nursery doing plenty of learning, reading, arts and crafts and taking him to a local playgroup and park so he was kept busy and every day and burning his energy off and socialising with the other children. I also noticed he learnt good manners/boundaries and listening when going outside.
Lovely, clean home with a nice sized play room and really nice family. Joey much preferred this setting to a private nursery which we tried a couple of times. Overall, we found the quality of care great. Always fed and watered and doing something fun with the day. Highly recommend

Choosing Kailani as our daughter’s childminder was the best decision we made. After struggling with separation anxiety at a previous setting, our 15-month-old daughter settled with Kailani within a week and has been happy ever since. Kailani is caring, experienced, patient, and highly reliable. We highly recommend her to any family looking for a nurturing and supportive childminder.

Can't fault her; we saw many options, but she stood out with her kindness and great calming energy. Especially as first-time parents, she gave us advice every step of the way. She communicates well; he always hates to leave and can't wait to go back to see her and his friends. Her house and environment are so clean and well-kept, especially the Christmas tree at Christmas. She also keeps us updated on his progress and big milestones. Words can't explain how grateful we are for finding her; I would recommend her to anyone.
