About Me
My name is Abi and I’ve lived in Kent my whole life. I enjoy helping children learn and grow at every stage of their young lives. My strengths are that I am a very responsible, attentive, caring and enthusiastic person. I am passionate about furthering my skills, so that I can continue doing what I love and broadening my experiences. As part of my job role in caring for your children, I will offer cooking and meal preparation (breakfast, lunch and dinner) that is suitable for your child, I will provide a range of stimulating indoor/ outdoor activities that’ll ensure your child is always having fun with me! As well as light house work if necessary. Playing outside, playing games and encouraging children to use their imagination is something that I am passionate about. When I have free time I enjoy dancing, going on walks with my dog and seeing friends and family. I am a non-smoker and I am comfortable with pets having grown up with cats and a dog. I’d love to be given the opportunity to get to know your family.
My Experience
I have over 1 year of Early Years/ Key Stage 1 Primary School Teaching Assistant experience, within this I was responsible for 1:1 teaching, small group teaching and also creating fun/ educational activities for the children daily. As well as that, I have a previous 3 years of Gymnastics Coaching experience for children ages 4-15. I feel that I have gained excellent childcare experience with children of all ages. I have recently completed paediatric first aid training, which included CPR training for infants, toddlers and children aged 12+. I have also had Special Needs Care Training and I am comfortable in interacting with all children at their level.
My Qualifications
I have 3 A-Levels in Psychology, Photography and Dance. I qualified as a Primary School Teaching Assistant having passed multiple courses such as Keeping Children Safe in Education and Paediatric first aid training. I also have a qualification in Coaching Level 1 Acrobatics Gymnastics.
My Availability
My availability my vary but currently consists of all weekdays morning-evening.
