Our son has been with Sinead since the start of her childminding business. When we were looking for a childminder, we were new to the area and first time parents. We were nervous about finding a childminder and unsure about the kind of person we would leave our son with. I met Sinead and immediately felt at ease. I was reassured by her kind demeanour, previous experience as a primary school teacher, and most importantly that she is a mother to two kids.
This initial reassuring feeling has been reinforced every time that our son has stayed with Sinead. We feel he is truly minded and an extension of her family. Sinead organises day trips, brings the kids to play groups, and she arranges enrichment activities in her home. We have seen our son develop his fine and gross motor skills, and his social development has been impressive. He loves playing with her children and also the new kids that attend for childminding. He also eats a varied diet at her house, and we get daily updates on his food, sleep and activities.
All in all, we are devastated that we're moving away and sad for our son who will miss going to his second home.

My son is 2 1/2 has been going to Sinead since January and before that he was at home with me, so this was his first time going to any kind of childcare.
He settled in really quickly and will now walk in very happy.
He is always doing something fun and interesting.
His speech and language has come on so much and his ability to count and remember songs is amazing.
He struggles with a few things, Sinead understands his wants and needs and when he need a bit of extra support.
Along with keeping me updated regularly with his progress.
Highly recommend Sinead and her home from home childminding service.
