Anna
Nanny in Suffolk Coastal
My Summary
About Me
I am a kind, calm and creative nanny and absolutely love the enthusiasm and wonder that children show about the world. I am a fully qualified teacher and special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCo) with a specialism in early years and primary education. I have over 25 years' experience which includes newborn and toddler experience in addition to primary school experience from ages 3-11. I am also a Mummy myself (with my children now grown-up) and I can relate to the joys and challenges of parenthood.
NOTE - I AM NOT CURRENTLY SEEKING EMPLOYMENT BUT WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM JULY 2027 ON A PART-TIME BASIS for nannying, mother's/father's help or private tutoring. I am flexible on my availability so please do contact me to discuss your needs.
Feedback on my practice consistently notes my calm manner with children of all ages and my intuitive nurturing approach. I have strong subject knowledge and I am imaginative and creative with the curriculum. I love reading and story telling, and believe that inspiring an early love of stories is a great foundation for a child's education. I also enjoy creative and practical activities (eg. art, music, baking). I love the great outdoors and spend as much time as possible in green spaces and walking along the beach.
My Experience
I have been working with children for over 25 years and have a wide range of experience from newborn to 11 years old, in nannying, nursery and teaching roles. I have worked as a nanny for several families in London, Hertfordshire and Europe. I have up-to-date experience with the current national curriculum and early years curriculum, as well as additional training and expertise in relational and therapeutic behaviour approaches and special needs. I have worked in schools under Ofsted inspection and have received outstanding judgements on my classroom teaching practice.
