Hello everyone! My name is Valentina. I’m a warm, caring, patient, friendly, reliable and responsible person. I’m originally from Colombia, so I’m a native Spanish speaker, and I’ve been living in London for the past two and a half years.
I’m currently studying English and my level is A2. I’m actively working on improving my English every day and I’m very motivated to continue learning and developing my communication skills.
I’ve been working with children since I was 16, and childcare has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I started by looking after 2-year-old twins and their 3-year-old brother, which was a wonderful experience and helped me discover how much I enjoy caring for children and supporting their development.
Since then, I’ve gained around 7 years of experience caring for children of different ages. Most recently, I spent two years looking after a young girl on a regular basis. I supported her with her daily routine, activities, learning and development. One of the most rewarding parts of my role was teaching her Spanish. As a native Spanish speaker, I was very proud to see how much she progressed and how confidently and fluently she can now speak Spanish.
I’m a patient, affectionate and responsible person, and I always aim to create a safe, positive and fun environment where children feel comfortable, cared for and encouraged to learn and explore.
I’m currently looking for a childcare position in London and would be happy to discuss my experience and availability.

My Experience
I have been working as a nanny since 2016, caring for children of different ages and supporting wonderful families with their daily routines. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to build trusting relationships with the children and their families, and references are available upon request.
My responsibilities have included preparing children for school and nursery, making breakfast and meals, changing nappies, supporting potty training, helping them get dressed and ready for the day, and maintaining their daily routines.
I really enjoy spending quality time with children and making everyday activities fun and engaging. I like reading books together, singing songs, dancing, doing puzzles, drawing and colouring, and playing with their favourite toys. I also enjoy using these activities as opportunities to encourage their learning, communication and independence.
I’m happy to prepare fresh and healthy meals for the children and keep their areas tidy throughout the day. I can also help with bath time, getting children ready for bed and reading bedtime stories.
For me, childcare is not only about keeping children safe and happy, but also about creating a warm environment where they feel comfortable, supported and encouraged to learn and explore.
My Qualifications
My knowledge of childcare comes from my personal experience. I have been caring for children since I was young and have learned through hands-on experience how to understand their needs, routines and development. I am always willing to learn and improve my childcare skills.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (net)
Babysitting (from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) is priced at £14.00 per hour.
Babysitting rates after 6 p.m. are £15.00 per hour.
Depending on the service you require, rates can be negotiated..
