About Me
I’m Harriet, I’m 23 years old, and I’m a caring, reliable and enthusiastic childcare professional with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
I am naturally a quiet, calm and gentle person, and I have a warm and nurturing approach to childcare. I enjoy creating a relaxed environment where children feel safe, comfortable and able to be themselves. I’m patient and attentive and take the time to understand each child’s individual personality, needs and routines. I particularly enjoy supporting children through their early years and getting involved in their everyday routines, development, play and activities.
My Experience
I have experience caring for children aged 0–2, having worked in both nursery and primary school settings, as well as in private nannying roles. I also have experience supporting children with SEND and understand the importance of adapting care to each child’s individual needs.
I worked for 18 months in an Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery, primarily in the baby room, where I gained valuable experience caring for babies and young children and supporting their early development.
I have since progressed into nannying and have 2½ years of nannying experience. My nannying experience includes supporting children with their daily routines, nursery runs, meals, activities, play, development and personal care. I really enjoy building close, trusting relationships with the children I care for and becoming a reliable part of their family’s routine
My Qualifications
I have completed a range of essential childcare and safeguarding training through my previous childcare roles.
This includes Safeguarding Children, Paediatric First Aid, food Hygiene Practice and other essential training relevant to working with children. I am also DBS checked.
Alongside my training, I have gained extensive practical childcare experience through working in an Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery, a primary school and as a nanny. I believe my hands-on experience has given me a strong understanding of children’s needs, safety, development and day-to-day care.
My Availability
I am currently working as a nanny and will be available for a new position from December/January. I may be able to start earlier depending on the needs of my current family, so please feel free to get in touch to discuss availability. I am open to both full-time and part-time nannying opportunities and would be happy to discuss different working arrangements.
I am ideally looking for a long-term position where I can build a strong relationship with the child/children and become a trusted part of the family.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

Harriet has been part of our family’s life for a long time and has been incredibly reliable and wonderful with our daughter. Our daughter absolutely loves her, and they have developed such a lovely relationship. As a parent, I can honestly say that Harriet is the one person outside our immediate family whom I can trust with our child. She is thoughtful and always willing to accommodate our family’s needs wherever she can. Having her support has made a real difference to our family life. I would wholeheartedly recommend Harriet to any family looking for someone reliable, caring and excellent with children.
