About Me
My name is Akouwa, I am a registered childminder under the name Madele childminding and also a member of SCMA. I live with my husband and my 4 beautiful children ( one girl and three boys) aged 11, 9, 5 and 3. I have experience from caring for my friends' children and bringing up my own children. I also worked with vulnerable adults in care home and in their own home. As a childminder in Scotland my setting is regularly inspected by the Care Inspectorate. I aim to provide nurturing environment, happy, warm and safe space for all children. I also aim to continuously improve the quality of the service I provide. I believe parental involvement contributes enormously to the effectiveness of how I operate. I have a large garden with ages appropriate toys.

I want to share our wonderful experience with our nanny/child-care provider. She is incredibly caring, attentive, and truly treats our daughter with so much love. We always feel at ease knowing she is in such good hands.
One of the things we appreciate most is how she keeps us updated in real time with photos and videos of daily activities — it’s so reassuring and heart-warming to see our daughter happy, engaged, and well cared for.

My son has been with Akouwa for quite a while now, and he absolutely loves her. He’s a very active child, and I really appreciate how she always keeps him engaged, they’re always out and about, taking part in different activities and exploring new things. Akouwa is incredibly caring and attentive to his needs. She takes the time to understand his personality and works with him to set small goals and reach new achievements together. I’ve also noticed such a positive change in his behavior since being with her. he’s become more confident, respectful, and well-behaved.
I couldn’t be happier with the care and support Akouwa provides. She truly goes above and beyond, and I’m so grateful to have her looking after my son.

My experience with Madele is amazing. Madele was available on a short notice and provided excellent care for my son. She provided playful and learning opportunities for him at her home as well as plenty of adventures outside, taking him to the castle, museum, beach, library, Newhailes estate which had a lot of activities for children. My son was always happy going to Madele.
