About Us
Saffron Walden Nursery School is a not for profit nursery where developing the children's love of the world around them is at the centre of all we do.
We believe that every child is unique. We want to allow our children to be children, while equipping them with the skills, interests and passions to support their transition through our nursery and on to their primary education.
We firmly believe in the value of learning through play. Children learn best when they are thoroughly engaged within enabling environments, where they are safe and supported. We have a strong focus on outdoor play and learning. During outdoor play in our large garden, children can explore, flourish and make a mess! This helps develop a disposition for the outdoors, for physical activity and for care of the environment.
