As a childminder, my business is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children while their parents are at work or attending to other responsibilities. I aim to create a warm, home-like setting where children feel secure and comfortable, enabling them to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.
In my care, each child receives individual attention, encouragement, and support to help them develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually. I plan a variety of activities tailored to different age groups, including creative play, educational games, outdoor exploration, and interactive story sessions. Nutrition and hygiene are also top priorities, ensuring that children have healthy snacks and meals, as well as consistent routines.
My business is committed to fostering open communication with parents, sharing daily updates and milestones, and collaborating with families to best support each child’s unique needs and development. Ultimately, I strive to provide peace of mind to parents, knowing their children are in safe hands and are thriving in a positive, engaging environment.
My Experience
I have two boys of my own (8 & 13) and have always spent time looking after children before I decided to make it my permanent job. I have also undertaken many training courses to get me at the level I am with my career. I am always strengthening my knowledge and under taking any course that I possibly can to make sure I have the ability to do the best I can by the children that start and attend my setting.
My Qualifications
Current pediatric first aid certificate.
Level 3 child protection and safeguarding.
Food hygiene certificate.

Lara has been caring for my 7 year old son since 2023 and has demonstrated excellent, caring and trust worthy service.
My son absolutely loves the mornings he spends with lara, he says "daddy, can I go to laras, we always have fun"
