I live on Vicarage Farm in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Driver with own car.

I have work experience with challenging children/Young People from PRU and probation settings in 2023
Compassionate understanding and experience of young person LGBTQ+ and also familial grief.

Age 57 (pictured), so an older parent myself with teenagers at home and college (16 and 18).

Good understanding of childcare / work dilemma so offering a reduced rate for working lone parents.
I also offer shorter respite slots to cover childcare whilst you attend health/leisure appointments.

Active outdoors person enjoy swimming, kayaking, tennis, running, golf driving, camping, walking. Happily accommodate active children.

I’ve been asked if I provide EYFS framework : I do not offer any structured educational provision but do engage actively with educational resources available

For full transparency I would like to clarify why I have set my rates at £10p/h.
If like me as a parent you are highly vigilant about your child’s welfare, I hope that my experience and qualifications will reassure you of my capabilities:

I have a Full Enhanced DBS. It is clear for all background checks. That means no cautions, police incidents or call-outs have ever been registered against me, and absolutely no child or adult related incidents. It is the highest background check for a childcare worker. This is available to view on request, and is verified by Childcare website.

I also have Paediatric first aid knowledge including CPR, defib use and Epipen application.
I have Open Water (OWL) Lifeguard certification meaning your child will be under strictest vigilance in my care around water.
We are a family recently bereaved of a husband and father in early 2025, and this has allowed me a new insight into the very sensitive developmental and emotional welfare needs of children in this situation.
I also have an older teenager at home with severe anxiety and am confident and comfortable around children with extra needs such as this .
