About Me
I am currently a student studying Psychology who is passionate about caring for and fulfilling children's needs. I love to go on walks, read and meet new people. I grew up in Portugal, moved to the UK for university (which was the best decision ever!), and speak 3 languages fluently. I am also a competitive Irish dancer, having recently ranked 11th in the world. I truly love working with children, as I believe there is something so special about each child, and will go to any length to help them achieve their goals or dreams.
My Experience
Throughout my teenage years, I volunteered twice a week at a nursing home and a disability day care centre. Through this, I learnt to be patient, communicate effectively, and care for people's individual needs, and I have learnt Makaton, sign language and various communication tools. I currently work as a teaching assistant at a SEN school, meaning I have further developed my skills of working with children in various settings, as well as completing a paediatric first aid course and having an enhanced DBS check.
My Qualifications
I have an International Baccalaureate diploma in 6 subjects, 9 IGCSE's and currently studying an undergraduate degree in Psychology at university.
My Availability
I am flexible and available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as well as on weekends and on bank holidays.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
