About Me

Hi, I'm April!

I’ve live in Reigate, though I’ve been working as a nanny in the area for the last 8 years. I’m a patient, caring, and outgoing nanny with over 10 years of experience looking after children from newborns upwards. I’ve also spent time working in nurseries and preschools, which has given me a well rounded approach to childcare.

I enjoy creating fun and engaging activities that help with children’s development, whether it’s through play, learning, or just a bit of good old imagination! I’m also well versed in managing allergies and dietary requirements, so I’m always extra mindful of what kids can eat, especially at playdates or groups.

I’m a proactive and trustworthy nanny who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids, who doesn’t love building Lego or doing puzzles, right? When I’m not nannying, I enjoy reading, baking, going to the gym, or getting into a bit of yoga.

My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience caring for children from newborns upwards, and during that time, I've also worked in nurseries and preschools. I’m really familiar with safety precautions and enjoy coming up with activities that help children grow and develop, both physically and socially. I have previously used the EYFS framework to guide these activities, making sure they’re both fun and beneficial.

My Qualifications

I'm qualified and experienced in childcare with a strong background in educational support and household management. I'm certified in First Aid and have a solid understanding of child development. I take pride in creating a safe and nurturing environments and keeping things well organised and running smoothly.

My Availability

At the moment, I nanny for a lovely family in Reigate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, so I’m looking to join another family on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays.
I’m also available for evening and weekend babysitting.
