About Us

We are BGN Nursery. We opened in January 2015 and were graded outstanding in February 2017 and again in February 2023. We provide quality education and care for 2,3 and 4 year olds. We are experienced in supporting children who have English as an Additional Language as well as Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We have been awarded the Portage Stamp of Approval for 5 years now, which we are proud of. We offer Forest school experiences, an internal Language group and nurture group for those children that need a little extra support to the main nursery environment. We are also a part of the Councils Tooth brushing scheme, where children brush their teeth daily and get resources to take home too. We provide a hot lunch Tuesday to Thursday and breakfast club each day.

All of our staff have an Enhanced DBS, annual safeguarding training, Food Hygiene training and Pediatric First aid training within their first six months of employment.

Our ethos is believing children should learn about how to take risks and become confident learners. We want children to become independent and have the ability to share their ideas and views.

Our Fees

  • Childcare from £26.25 per morning

we ask for a weekly contribution of £8.00 per week to cover snacks and sundries.
