About Me
My name is Lydie Mafina. I am a hardworking personable woman who has a passion for working with kids. I understand that a Childs first years are the most vital stepping stones to a Childs growth and success. I have been working in schools all my life and I have also worked part time as a nanny and I am passionate about taking things to the next level and becoming a nanny again. I will provide the best care that I can to the children I will be taking care of. I will work hard to provide children with varied stimulating activities that will help promote their learning abilities and their development. I have also studied health and social care in university which has also helped me accumulate the necessary skills when I am working with children.
I also have kids and grand kids of my own that have help prepare me for this role.
My Experience
As I have mentioned before I have worked in many schools aiding kids with different needs so already I have picked up the necessary skill set when dealing with kids. This involved communicating with kids, writing up reports about them , feeding them, recommending meals that they would eat to their parents.
I have also worked as a part time as a nanny before and I have taken care of one boy and one girl aged 4 and 5. This involved preparing meals with balanced nutrition , paying close attention to their allergies.
- Organizing educational tasks for them to do so they stay on top of their education and actually enjoy learning.
- I would perform minimal housekeeping duties, to ensure the kids are staying in a clean environment.
-Organize meetings with parents to ensure they're up to date with everything going on and to help plan the weeks and upcoming tasks they may want me to complete.
