About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Colne. I am a mum of 2 young children. I offer a nurturing home from home experience for children which follows the EYFS framework in the same way as a nursery with the benefit of lower practitioner to child ratios. I endorse learning through play and life experiences and pride myself on the strong personal relationships I build with all children I care for.
My Experience
I registered as a childminder after completing my pre-registration inspection with Ofsted in January 2024 and have been open and operating since then. Previously I worked in the UK school system as a welfare and safeguarding officer for a number of years.
My Qualifications
I hold an enhanced DBS as well safeguarding and paediatric first aid training. I am a a member of the Lancashire childminding membership scheme and I regularly complete relevant training courses with them to be able to provide children with the best possible care.
My Availability
My opening hours are from 7:30AM - 5:30PM Monday to Friday
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I accept both tax free childcare and government funded hours. I charge £5 per hour or a daily charge of £45 which covers my opening hours. All meals snacks drinks and activities are included in my daily and hourly rate. I charge a small consumable fee of £3.50 per day for funded childcare to cover the cost of the above.
