Childcare Experience

Private Nanny – London

August 2023 – January 2026

I worked with the same family for over two years, caring for three children. When I started, the youngest child was 10 months old and I provided full-time care for them, alongside after-school care for the two older children, who were aged 4 and 8.

My responsibilities included:

* Full-time care of the youngest child
* Preparing meals, snacks and bottles
* Changing, dressing and general personal care
* Following nap, feeding and daily routines
* Planning age-appropriate activities and play
* Supporting children’s development and independence
* School pick-ups and after-school care
* Preparing meals for the older children
* Helping with homework and activities
* Managing the routines of multiple children
* Maintaining a safe, clean and organised environment
* Communicating with the parents about the children’s routines and needs

I developed a very close relationship with all three children and became a trusted part of their daily lives. I am able to provide a reference from the family.

Nursery Assistant – Kido, London

August 2022 – November 2022

Worked within a nursery environment caring for young children and supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.

My responsibilities included supervising children, helping with daily routines, organising age-appropriate educational and creative activities, supporting children’s social development and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. I also worked alongside other nursery staff and communicated with parents when required.

I helped create a safe and positive environment for the children and supported activities designed to encourage their communication, independence and social skills.

Worked as a nanny for a private family in London, providing regular childcare and helping with the children’s everyday routines.

My responsibilities included supervising the children, preparing meals and snacks, organising activities, helping with homework, school drop-offs and pick-ups and ensuring the children were safe and well cared for.

Worked within a school environment supporting and supervising students and helping maintain their safety and wellbeing throughout the school day.

About My Experience

I have several years of experience working with children in private homes, nurseries and school environments. I am particularly experienced with babies and young children and have experience caring for multiple children of different ages at the same time.

I am patient, caring, reliable and organised. I understand how important it is for parents to have someone they can genuinely trust with their children, and I always aim to provide a safe, loving and comfortable environment while respecting each family’s individual routines and parenting preferences.

Having worked long-term with a private family, I understand that being a nanny is about much more than simply supervising children. It is about becoming a reliable and consistent person in their lives and building a positive relationship with both the children and their parents.
