About Me

My name is Tessy. I am the founder of Tessy's Doula Services and based in London.
I am a mother of two with four grandchildren, an experienced labour, childbirth and postpartum doula. I have thirty-four years of pastoral experience in the church which has brought me in contact with many expectant mothers most of which I assisted during labour and delivery. I have also supported many families and new parents.

My Experience

I have assisted with births across various nations. I have first hand experience not only as a parent but also as a grandmother. I have experience working within the childcare sector. I am a registered childminder assistant with my daughter who runs a nursery. For this I have undergone the necessary trainings and checks such as an Enhanced DBS check, a Paediatric First Aid training and Safeguarding Trainings. I also hold a CACHE Level 1 Award in an Introduction to Early Years Setting as well as a CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism.
