I'm Rachel a bubbly, energetic and reliable woman who absolutely loves working with children. I am enthusiastic about what I do, always providing a happy, safe and loving environment where children can be themselves while developing mentally and socially. I especially enjoy experiencing all the exciting and wonderful aspects involved in childcare, such as the way that children explore and have such wild curositiy and ambiiton to learn and grow- which is such a lovely thing to be involved in. I absolutely love watching children hit their individual milestones, feeling proud and involved in their achievements. Aswell as this, I adore how each child has their own unique quirks and charcteristics which make them who they are. I believe I am a very caring person who works hard to provide the best standard of childcare for all the families I work with.
I am looking for a fun friendly family who I can help where necessary with caring for their children .I have a full UK driving license allowing me to do school pick-ups and drop-offs as well as take children on fun day outs to explore and learn. I grew up in the countryside and have such a passion for the outdoors as I believe it creates such a fresh and positive environment for children to develop and play in. I am more than happy to prepare and serve food to children as well as cleaning the house as who doesn't love a clean and tidy home? I love setting up fun activities based around children's interests and development whether this is drawing, singing, messy-play or reading books!
As a nanny I differ from a nursery setting or childminder as I can give your child my whole undivided attention, allowing them to grow emotionally, mentally, physically and academically in a loving and nurturing environment. My primary goal is to make sure your child has a happy, healthy, safe and fully enjoyable childhood through my attentive care.

My Experience
I have spent the last year and a half working in childcare related roles such as babysitting and nannying as well as being a nursery assistant for that whole time too. During the time i have worked in a nursery I have gained multiple certificates from training i have completed such as: paediatric first aid, prevent duty, food safety and hygiene as well as safeguarding. I specialise work with children aged 6months up to 3 years, but have also worked lots with the ages 4-12 years old in preschool and afterschool clubs. I have experience with children with SEN and behavioural challenges too, as well as doing volunteering for youth groups.
I have a DBS too!
