My son is currently in Foundation, and we are specifically looking for support with his focus and listening skills, in addition to the general reading, writing, and maths. Our short-term goal is to prepare him for the test in Year 1, but we’re also very keen to help him develop a mindset for studying and build his confidence in his abilities. He is a clever boy, and we know he can achieve more than he currently does—it’s just that staying focused and listening can sometimes be a challenge for him. Despite that, he’s a lovely and kind.
