Freya
Babysitter in Oxford
My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m 23 and based locally. I’m a caring, patient and responsible person with hands-on experience looking after children of different ages and needs.
I regularly help care for my 4-year-old sister, so I’m very familiar with early years routines including playtime, reading, preparing simple meals, bath time and bedtime. I also support my 23-year-old brother who has special needs, which has helped me develop strong patience, understanding and awareness of individual needs.
I have a clear DBS (not on the update service). I understand how important trust and communication are when caring for children, and I always aim to create a safe, calm and positive environment where children feel comfortable and supported.
I’m looking for part-time babysitting work (up to 15 hours per week) and can be flexible with evenings and weekends.
Please feel free to message me if you’d like to know more, I’d be happy to chat ?
My Experience
I have over 5 years of professional experience working as a Support Worker for individuals with disabilities. In this role, I provided person-centred care, supported daily routines, assisted with personal care, and ensured a safe and positive environment at all times. This role strengthened my patience, responsibility, safeguarding awareness and ability to support individuals with varying needs.
Prior to this, I worked as a Domiciliary Care Worker, supporting clients in their own homes with daily living tasks, personal care and companionship. This helped me develop strong communication skills, reliability and an understanding of the importance of trust when working closely with families.
Alongside my professional experience, I regularly help care for my 4-year-old sister, supporting with playtime, meals and bedtime routines. I also support my adult brother who has special needs, which has given me additional hands-on experience and understanding of individual care needs.
Through both my professional and personal experience, I have developed a calm, caring and responsible approach to supporting others.
