About Me
Hi there, my name is Jemima and I’m 19 years old. I currently work at my local primary school in reception, I have a lot of experience with childcare for someone my age and I’m looking to broaden my experience of childcare for my future. My goal is to become a full time nanny in Australia in 2025, so I would love some part time experience in nannying to help me with jobs in the future. I absolutely love working with children and I would love to gain some experience in working with children under 3.
My Experience
I have been a casual babysitter for family/friends since I was 13. I’ve worked in afterschool clubs for children ages 4-11, and I currently work full time in reception (ages 4-5). I really enjoy my job but I’m looking to broaden my experience in family homes and children of younger ages to help me moving forward.
My Qualifications
I have a DBS, first aid training, safeguarding training and NELI training. NELI helps children with under developed language skills so I am qualified to teach those skills. I also teach a small group of children maths 4 days a week at work although I am not qualified.
My Availability
Ideally one full day a week (any), I’m available in the evenings but wouldn’t be able to do every single evening and casual weekends.
