Hi ?
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am a young at heart married mum of 3 grown up children & lucky enough to be a nana to 3 beautiful grandsons.
Since leaving school my life has always been about working with children.
My first nanny job was at 18 where I worked looking after 2 children full time until they were both at school. I am still in close contact with them now at the age of 40 & 38. I went on to another full time nanny job who I stayed with for 5 half years including having my own first 2 children. I went into child minding when number 2 came along as it was a bit much taking both my little ones to work every day, & I went on to have baby number 3. When my children started nursery I worked 1-1 with a little boy with quite a lot of extra needs and transitioned with him at his parents request through to the primary school they chose for him. I looked after him throughout his school years and then when he left went on to work in early years for the rest of my time at the school. After 12 years at the school I took a complete career change and started an HCA (nursing job) at Benenden private hospital where I worked in theatres wards and ACU for 4 half years. I loved my job there but my passion is children and sadly they closed the children’s department there. I wasn’t actively looking but a mum reached out to me on this app which led me back to nannying today as I’ve been nannying again ever since. I stayed with that family for nearly 2 years intil they relocated back to London and have now been with my current family 3 years with a little boy who is nearly 5 & his 7 year old sister. The little boy I look after is autistic, with global developmental delay and sensory processing disorder. He has settled better than expected into his new school & is coping with full days which is such an achievement for him ?.
My current nanny family are now reducing my hours so if I can find a nanny share that would be great but also they fully support me going in to a new full time role if that is better for me.
