I offer reliable school drop-off and pick-up services to local schools, helping families manage their daily routines with ease. For school-age children, I provide structured homework support, tutoring, and guidance to reinforce learning, build confidence, and encourage positive study habits. I also support and tutor home-educated children, delivering tailored learning activities aligned with their individual needs.
During school holidays, I run engaging holiday club sessions designed to combine fun with learning. Children take part in a wide range of activities that promote life skills, creativity, and physical wellbeing, including baking, sports, educational games, and school learning support. Enrichment outings form an important part of my provision, with planned visits to libraries, museums, parks, and the zoo to extend children’s knowledge, curiosity, and social skills.
My service is centred on creating an inclusive, stimulating environment where children feel supported, confident, and motivated to learn while enjoying meaningful play and experiences.
My Experience
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder with over 10 years’ experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Studies, supporting children aged 0–16. As a mother of three aged 13, 9, and 7, I provide safe, nurturing, and inclusive care that promotes children’s learning, wellbeing, and development.

We approached Kemi for short-term, part time childcare while we were visiting the UK. She was friendly, responsive and flexible - exactly what we were looking. She looked after my two young children in a safe, caring and stimulating way. She always had activities planned and took them on excursions. They really enjoyed their time with Kemi and we would highly recommend her for anyone looking for childcare in the area. Many thanks.

Our little boy has autism so we were really worried about any childminders coping with him but Kemi at Brightstars has made us feel completely at ease, she is super friendly and kind and easy to get along with. Very flexible with dates. She has taken our little lad all over the place on lovely trips out and keeps him occupied all day with lots of hands on activities, he comes home super tired! Also gives us a lot of updates throughout the day which is great! Our little boy can’t wait to go and see Kemi and even asks if he can go again the next day! 😂 Kemi is a godsend 😇 Thank you so much!

Kemi is amazing with children. She took a good care of my two years old son. She is very flexible and has accommodated all of our requests.She’s got a bubbly personal and genuine care for children.Highly recommended.
