My name is Jolande and I live in Guildford with my husband Tim and our four lovely children. We have a 9-year-old, a 7-year-old, and 4-year-old twin, along with our little sausage dog.
Our home is busy, loud, and a little bit chaotic at times — but it’s full of fun, energy, and lots of laughter. We’re looking for someone who would enjoy being part of that and helping our afternoons run smoothly during the school week.
My Requirements
After-School Nanny Required – Guildford (Starting September 2026)
We are a friendly family based in Guildford looking for a reliable, caring and fun after-school nanny to help with our four children from September.
The role will mainly involve caring for our two younger children, as our older two will usually be attending after-school clubs.
Typical responsibilities include:
Collecting the children from school.
Bringing them home safely.
Playing with them and keeping them entertained.
Helping with reading, homework or simple activities where appropriate.
Preparing and serving their dinner.
Creating a calm, happy and nurturing environment until we return home from work.
We are looking for someone who is:
Warm, kind and enthusiastic.
Reliable and organised.
Confident caring for young children.
Happy to become part of our family routine.
The role is expected to be around 3–4 afternoons per week during term time, with hours approximately 2.30pm–5.30pm (to be confirmed). There may also be opportunities for additional hours during school holidays if desired.
