I am currently living in Canterbury and looking for childcare jobs. I am from Essex and live in Canterbury during term time, but am available in the canterbury or greater london area this summer! Before uni I worked with children and absolutely loved it! I worked with kids aged 5-12 for two months as a summer camp councillor in Toronto Canada! It was the best time of my life and I was told I was very good with the kids and looking after their daily needs simultaneously. I also have babysitting experience previous to that in the past few years, for family members, friends and neighbours, and I would enjoy doing it again.
My Experience
I last worked with children at a kids camp in Canada for 2 months last summer. I was a camp councillor, running activities and looking after groups of children of different ages. (more information in my CV, provided under documents)
My Qualifications
I have an approved DBS check, I haven't received any official childcare qualifications yet but I have lots of experience babysitting and have worked for 2 months with young and older kids at a summer camp. I passed a first aid course for this job, underwent a police check and learned many new skills about working with children. I am currently a 2nd year student in Canterbury getting an art degree. I have an 18 month old neice, many young cousins and have friends with young children too, so I am very skilled in looking after and entertaining children!
My Availability
Weekends and Fridays, as well as Wednesdays or Mondays if you needed, and Tuesdays and Thursday evenings during term time. Completely flexible during the summer!
