About Me

My name is Yaa, and I am a fully Ofsted-registered childminder based in the Walderslade area. As a mum of three wonderful children—a 20year old daughter, sons 17 and 12.
I understand just how important it is for parents to feel confident, reassured, and supported when choosing childcare.
I live with my husband and children in a warm, loving family home where every child is welcomed, valued, and cared for as an individual. I offer a safe, nurturing, and accommodating environment that truly feels like a home away from home.
With over 10 years of experience as a Teaching Assistant, I bring a strong understanding of child development, learning styles, and emotional support. I’m passionate about helping children learn through play, exploration, and discovery, allowing them to grow in confidence and develop at their own pace.
My aim is simple:
To make every day fun, engaging, and meaningful for the children in my care.
Whether we’re exploring nature, getting creative, reading stories, or learning new skills, I ensure each child feels happy, supported, and excited to learn.
