About Me
I like socialising with friends however i love my own time just as much. One of my favourite subjects in school was English. I'm quite a chatty individual but i know when i need to listen. I would consider my self a very loyal friend and a kindhearted person, but i can stand my ground if necessary. I'm very protective of my friends and family and hate seeing other upset. I would say i'm very good at giving advice and seeing things from many different perspectives. I'm very smiley and always up for a good laugh. My friends would say i'm very confident but i also love my own personal time to relax. I like being the best but i'm not a saw loser. I try my best at everything, even if I’m not amazing at it. I love working with children and would consider my self a compassionate, patient and a warm person to be around.
My Experience
Between the ages of 15-19 I frequently babysat for my next door neighbours and their two daughters. The girls were three and six when I first started, and now they are both at school ages 6 and 9. When I looked after them, I made sure they where fed, looked after and ready for bed all whilst in a safe and happy environment, ensuring that they where having a fun time while I was there. I will sometimes help them with their homework and spellings and ensure the house is neat and tidy for the arrival of mum and dad. I really enjoyed when I babysat and always got involved in all the fun games and activities that they like to play.
For 5 months in summer 2023 I lived and worked at a children’s summer camp in Upstate New York as a Day Camp Counsellor. This role involved looking after and caring for children between the ages of 4-12 ensuring they are safe, well looked after and are having an amazing, education packed experience. Throughout my time there, I gained some great new skills and knowledge with how to properly care for and take care of children and really enjoyed my time there!
My Qualifications
I finished my GCES In 2020 passing all 11 qualifications at grade 4 and above.
I then studied Travel and Tourism for 2 years at College receiving my Level 3 diploma in 2022.
During the last half of my second year in College, I landed a part time job as a Travel agent for Coop-Travel.
I worked there for a year and a half and also decided to take up another year in college studying Cabin Crew part time to fill up the empty days in the week.
I finished both my final college course and job role just before summer 2023 to work in the USA at a Children’s summer camp where I looked after children ages 4-12 and also worked as a lifeguard.
I have also got a qualification in health and social care in which I received top grades for, a basic First Aid Certification and also a Lifeguarding Certification
My Availability
I currently out of the country travelling and will be home at the end of March.
When I’m back I’ll be looking for live out nanny role and or babysitting position
