Couldn’t have found better

Our daughter spent a year at Anna’s starting at 12 months old, and we cannot thank Anna and the team enough for all the kind love and attention she got during that time. We don’t live that close but I looked at over 15 nurseries in our area and did not feel that any were the right fit. We instantly fell in love with Anna’s cosy environment when we came to view the space and so decided to send her even though it’s a 30 minute walk uphill for us. It is clean and very welcoming and really feels like a home away from home. The children all get very specialised attention given the small size of the setting and the activities are better than some of the bigger nurseries we know. Our daughter had some food intolerances and Anna’s was so accommodating, Anna even worked with us to incorporate some family recipes into their menu. We loved the flexibility and the ease of communication with Anna in particular. We especially loved how much cooking/baking the kids do and the fact that each term there are themed activities based on books. My daughter settled in so quickly with Anna and learned so much with them, she really blossomed in that environment. It’s the perfect combination of structured activities and free play, and is the closest thing to a Waldorf style environment we could have hoped for. We were very sad to leave and would have happily kept our daughter there if we didn’t have to move. She has been in her new school for almost a month now and still talks about Anna and the other team members often and very affectionately, and we hope to keep in touch with them as long as we are able, and hopefully send our next child there too. We would highly recommend Anna’s to anyone looking for a great environment for their child!
