Part Time Nanny Job In Hove
About Me
Mother to a sweet, fun and curious toddler, who turned 2 in September 2024.
We are a British/Israeli family; we relocated to Hove in Jan and are absolutely falling in love with the area.
Hubby works in tech, my area of work is storytelling (though mostly still on big fat maternity leave, following difficult recovery from birth).
Other things we love: playing music (when we're not too tired!), walks in the woods, swimming in the sea, making fires, art, seasonal celebrations, good food...
My Requirements

Our sociable, friendly, active, sweet little boy is at nursery Mon, Tue & Thu.
I've filled out possible times in the availability chart, but we are looking for part time/ad hoc, particularly on a Wed or Fri or weekend. Someone coming 3 times a week +- would be great but we are flexible.
SAMPLE schedule:
Mon 17.00 - 19.00
Wed: 17.00 - 20.30 including bath and bed (+ evening if we wanted to go out)
Fri: 14.00/17.00 - 19.00 (+ bed time and evening if we wanted to go out)
Weekend ad hoc
Qualities that are important to us in a babysitter:
Reliability, confidence, experience, initiative, playfulness, good communicator, open-minded.
We ideally would like to work with someone who is looking for semi-regular ad hoc so that there can be some familiarity for our little one.
Being comfortable with light housework (to organise the kitchen a bit, put away toys) would be a great help too
What is our little one like?
Curious, loves dancing, books and songs, the woods, climbing, laughing his head off. He is smily, friendly, sensitive, cautious, understands everything and finding his voice, sometimes cheeky, the sweetest if I say so myself!
We try to have a child led approach and also set loving boundaries as needed.
