About Me

I’m Tamanna Islam. I’ve been living in Chester for 19 years and at the moment I’m a health care assistant working in a care home, but previously I worked in a primary school for a few years. Everyone who knows me would say I’m a kind, caring and approachable person. I understand what it’s like and the effort needed to deal and understand children, which I enjoy. Anything to do with caring for other people really makes me feel fulfilled and brings me joy, and I aspire to bring joy to everyone else’s day.

My Experience

With the experience I’ve gained from having my own two children aged 18 and 14, and also coming from a large family with lots of children, from newborn to new-adult, it’s safe to say I’m very experienced with children of all ages. I also used to work in a primary school for a few years as a teaching assistant, helping the younger kids with reading, writing, drawing and all the necessary skills needed.

My Qualifications

I have Childcare level 2 completed, and also have completed GCSE’s and A-level’s. Also during training to be become a health care assistant, I’ve acquired skills like first aid training.

My Availability

I’m available all afternoons and evenings apart from Sunday and Monday as I’m working on those evenings and nights.
