Single mum to a wonderful little girl who is 4 years old. I am a communication and family therapist. I also run a speech and language therapy company providing therapy to SEN schools. I believe in gentle parenting and in children leading their own learning and development at their own pace. I have a very open-minded and holistic belief system and bring this into my parenting with my daughter.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a babysitter/nanny who can work within our family, which includes part time with grandparents, to provide consistent childcare support for us.
The post is based in Exeter and Exmouth. Car driver essential.
We’re looking for someone who is available for nursery pick ups and drop offs up to 4 days of the week. We also need someone who is available to do 1-2 regular evenings and some overnights some weeks. Hours stated below are a rough indication. I can currently pay a rate of around £12.50/hour. The overnight rate would be a flat charge of £50/night for the hours my daughter is sleeping.
A large part of this role is providing support alongside me, as I have struggled to do this alone for 4 years with very few family or friends around to support.
Usually on the overnights I will not be around as I travel regularly for work. There will be some light child-related house jobs eg changing child’s bed, basic cooking, tidying.
The position would suit someone who is happy to work on a self employed basis.
