About Me

Hello, I’m Simra (Keira)!
I live in South London and I am a caring, loving individual who’s been around children all my life.

I have experience with children ages ranging from newborn to older years.
My strong point of experience is with younger children ( newborn to 10 years ).

I’ve previously worked in a nursery agency catering from 1 to 5 year olds.
Then went on to work in a nursery around Wandsworth. I left and joined this app due to flexibility but I am now searching for more permanent hours.
I also help act as a childminder assistant for a close family member.

My hobbies include; cooking, I love providing children with a balanced and healthy meal!
Arts and crafts, I’m very creative and love this type of play as it encourages children to engage, learn and ask questions and most importantly express their creativity!
I also enjoy walks in the park, nature and exploring new gardens or parks.

I have strength in creating a routine, I enjoy working this way as it helps children understand the the basis of life. I also love for the children in my care to get plenty of fresh air when needed, exploring in gardens or even just going for a little 10 minute walk!

Others say I am calm, patient and kind, I enjoy working with children as it’s always been a life long goal to have a profession in childcare.

I always strive to make sure every child is comfortable around myself, so I make sure I implement my knowledge from my previous nursery work into my babysitting/nannying.

Safeguarding is the most important thing for me above everything, there has never been any complaints about any children under my care, your children are my first priority.

I’m in it for the long haul and I have actually been searching for a family I could potentially go long term with!
