About Me
I am a BSc Education and Psychology student at the University of Southampton currently on my placement in a SEND school for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. I am also an events nanny for an agency, nannying at events such as weddings and parties, even holidays! I have a lot of experience with children of all ages between 1 month and 16 years, including a wide range of additional needs.
My Experience
I have worked in nursery schools for the past 2+ years during school holidays and have completed various qualifications as part of this, e.g. food hygiene, safeguarding and emergency first-aid courses. As part of my placement, we have constant training on special educational needs, and other aspects of children’s lives, such as speech development. I have an enhanced DBS check and am fully insured with Morton Michel.
My Qualifications
I have got certificates from various training courses I have completed at the SEND school and nursery. These include emergency first-aid, safeguarding and food hygiene and preparation, for example. I am fully insured with Morton Michel.
My Availability
During the holidays, my current jobs have 0-hours contracts, meaning I have high levels of availability. During term-time, I am currently working in a SEND school for my placement year and so am only available for weekend babysitting this year. I have my own car and therefore can travel around fairly easily at any time of day.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £16/h before 7pm (and after midnight). This lowers to £14/h after 7pm.

Caitlin is a fantastic after school nanny for our boys (aged 5 and 3), collecting them from school and nursery a couple of times per week. She is highly organised, always punctual, and has a lovely calm and caring manner. The boys adore her, and have a lot of fun playing games, crafting and completing school projects with her. Caitlin has a lot of childcare experience, especially with early years, and we know the boys will be safe and happy when she is looking after them.
