My Summary
About Me
I am currently a finalising my business as a childminder! I have spaces available for 0-5 year olds during the day time and spaces for school ages children up to 8 years old for wraparound care. I have worked with children for as long as I have worked! Starting in a nursery, then progressing to a SEN school where I learnt a plethora of skills and then moving onto my most recent role of being a NWOC (nanny with own child).
My Experience
I have 4 years previous experience in a St Albans leading nursery, where I was a TA for 2 years and then moved onto becoming a teacher for the other 2 years. I then moved on to my next role as learning mentor in a SEN school, everyday was completely different, with its own challenges and experiences. Here, I learnt the most integral lesson that carries me to this day, “Every child needs a champion!”
After going on maternity leave I started a job being a NWOC (Nanny with own child), I adored this job. The attention and care you can provide for children is so different when you can be in such small ratios. Which lead me here, starting my own business in something I care so much about and following my dreams!!
My Qualifications
I am qualified in child development, with a level 2 qualification and I am also qualified as an early years practitioner at level 3.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
