My Experience

I have worked with children since the age of 16, where I started my job as a swimming instructor at the local sport centre. I taught ages from 18 months to 6 years. Once I turned 18, I decided that I wanted to go into nursery work. I managed to get a job as an Assistant in Farnham and have worked there for 2.5 years. I have worked with 4 month to 5 years old. I have worked with special needs children and have completed all safeguarding courses. I am DBS checked with paediatric first aid qualification. During 2023, I decided to do my level 3 and got through 10 months worth of assessments and coursework, acing all my practicals. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons I had to leave to course which left me without the qualification. However I still learned and experienced a lot in those 10 months, which has helped me to become the practitioner I am today at the nursery.

My Qualifications

I recently completed my paediatric first aid in October 2023 and I have a current DBS in place. I also have my level 2 food and hygiene.

My Availability

Recently, I have decided to leave the nursery that I have worked at for the last 2.5 years. The reasoning for this was that I wanted to pursue my career even further and to do this I have enrolled on an Open University course to get my degree in psychology. Since I will be studying from home, I will be looking for part time work around my local area. However, I will not be starting OU until April. So between now and April 1st, my availability is wide open everyday. Once I start my degree, I will not be able work the same hours that I am available now.

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
