About Me
Myself and husband Luke have 3yo old Finn, a friendly German shepherd called Thomas and a cat called Hamish. Our second baby is due in October.
My Requirements
Ideally someone to be with Finn whilst still being around the house/garden/local area as we will have just moved and there's lots of change for him with a house move and new brother inbound. Flexibility to e.g. get the baby to sleep if Finn needs me or the other way around would be appreciated. Essentially another pair of hands to be part of the family whilst we navigate this transition together! In terms of ongoing work, I will be looking to transition back to some work in the Spring and of course baby brother will need someone - we're really working this out as we go!
We are keen for play based outdoor time as much as possible for Finn, and may look into a more formal pre-school setting for him in the Spring 2027 but undecided at the moment.
Flexible with hours for the right person, we look forward to speaking to you.

Having visited the nursery and met with Charlie I can see so much potential for this business and it's passionate owner. The space is light, airy and thoughtfully laid out with developmentally appropriate toys/activities. The ethos is one of connection first and foremost. The staff support and model by eating with the children but do not coerce behaviour. The play I observed was child led but supported and Charlie has a lovely positive energy about her which I've no doubt she'll seek to emulate in her future hires as the business grows. I was thrilled to learn the children will be outside/in nature as much as possible with easy access to safe outdoor places to explore around Charlton Kings. With a ratio maximum of 3:1 it feels as though care can truly be focussed and individual to each child. Charlie Bears has a generous and transparent settling in process with parent/caregivers invited to stay if they wish to. My son was instantly happy in the space and with the carers, and I'm actually looking forward to him starting with Charlie. I think this nursery is going to be in high demand extremely quickly.
