Hi, I have a lot of experience with children of all ages, especially under 5s', including those with special needs. I am 22 years old and based in Canterbury. I am reliable and energetic, happy to help with any needs your children may have.
My Experience
Currently working as a teaching assistant at St. Nicholas School, Canterbury (SEND school) predominantly with those aged 5-11 with a wide range of needs.
Babysitting over 120 children age 2mths-14yrs (inc. special needs) daytime/ evening/ overnight.
Working as an OFSTED registered childminding assistant (2018-2024).
Working/ volunteering in nurseries, schools (mainstream and special), hospital children’s/ neonatal/ maternity wards, and at a specialist SEND preschool.
Caring for babies (excluding relatives) from 1 week old including experience with multiple sets of twins from new-borns to 9 years.
Coaching gymnastics and trampolining for 2 - 14 year olds.
I have spent the last year (2023) travelling and volunteering at schools, preschools, a group foster home, sports clubs and afterschool programmes in Bali, Japan, South Africa and Zambia.
Helping with/ running toddler groups, holiday clubs, church 0-3yrs groups, child/youth weekends away and other church events.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in the children and young people's workforce (2022).

I cannot recommend Kirsty enough. Kirsty has been a brilliant addition to our family and invaluable in supporting my husband and I to look after our identical twin boys (from age 9 months to 5 years). Kirsty has helped us on numerous occasions, both for daytime and evening care to give us some respite. Kirsty has continuously made a real effort to get to know our boys as individuals to build trust, both between the boys and her but with us as parents which has been lovely to see. The boys love being in Kirsty's care and it is abundantly clear she enjoys playing and being with them too.

Kirsty has been a big hit with my 3 year old son and 2 year old daughter. She is a wonderful childminder and she has looked after them since they were around 6 months. We have loved her flexibility when I have had last minute work projects and she stepped in very quickly overnight when I was in labour to look after my eldest. She is lots of fun and I highly recommend her in every way!
