About Me
Hi! I’m Chloe, a 22-year-old Early Years graduate with a Level 3 Extended Diploma in CACHE and a degree in Early Years Education. I’ve recently completed a year working as a nanny, caring for two children aged 7 and 9, and I also have experience working with children of a range of ages, from babies through to teenagers.
I’m friendly, reliable, caring and enthusiastic, and I genuinely love spending time with children and getting to know their individual personalities and interests. My experience as a nanny has given me lots of confidence in planning activities, preparing meals, helping with homework, managing routines and creating a fun, safe and positive environment for children.
I’m also happy to help with light household tasks, cooking and pets, and I’m always willing to get involved—whether that’s getting creative with arts and crafts, playing games, exploring outdoors, reading stories or simply making sure the children have a fun time while you’re away.
I hold a current DBS check and have basic first aid training from my previous childcare work.

My Experience
Childcare Experience
Over the past year, during my gap year, I have worked part-time as a nanny for two wonderful boys. I provided after-school care, helping with homework, preparing snacks and meals, organising activities, and of course, lots of playing! This experience has given me a great understanding of the responsibilities involved in caring for children and the importance of creating a fun, safe and supportive environment.
Alongside my nannying experience, I have gained a wide range of practical experience throughout my Early Years degree. I have completed placements across five primary schools, two nurseries, a daycare and a playgroup, working with children across a variety of ages and settings.
During my primary school placements, I have supported children within the classroom, worked closely with individual children as a key adult, and planned and delivered age-appropriate lessons and activities. In nursery settings, I have supported children’s learning through play and created engaging activities suited to their individual ages and interests.
My daycare experience has also included caring for babies, including feeding, settling them for naps and providing age-appropriate play and activities. Across all of my experiences, I have developed a strong understanding of children’s individual needs and the importance of making them feel safe, happy, listened to and cared for.
My Qualifications
I have completed my level 3 extended diploma in CACHE, finishing with 3 A's and completed my Early Childhood Studies Degree in Stranmillis with a 2:1 overall and a first on my dissertation.
My Availability
Availability
I’ll be starting my Postgraduate Certificate in Education in September, so my weekdays will be fairly busy with university and placement commitments, generally from around 8am until 5–6pm.
However, I’ll have much more flexibility at weekends and would be happy to discuss regular or occasional weekend babysitting. I may also have some weekday evening availability depending on my university and placement schedule, so please feel free to get in touch and we can work out what suits us both!
