About Me
Hi my name is Sarah. I live in Norton Canes, Cannock, with my husband and two boys. I am registered with Ofsted and run SMILE Childcare from my home and a cabin built playroom at the bottom of the garden.
I have a passion for working with children and I provide safe home from home environment. We like to spend our time outdoors visiting local parks, woodlands like Connacht chase and chase water, soft play, libraries and playgroups. We also enjoy baking, stories, role play and free play. I will help your child to develop and grow and be independent through learning activities and our daily routine. I follow the EYFS, use next steps and we embrace the seasons, celebrate holidays and the children enjoy free play and group activities. Our home is equipped with lots of toys, books and crafts. Our garden is big and secure has two different sized slides, mud kitchen and sandpit. Our playroom is in our garden which is a cabin built building which is used for only childminding in. We also have an area for planting and growing. I communicate with parents via a babydays app with photos and what they have been up to.
My Experience
I have worked within early years for over two years now and previous worked with primary and secondary school children. I also worked in a special needs school.
