I am a 23 year old Secondary English Teacher, available for ad-hoc babysitting/nannying at evenings, weekends, and school holidays. I love working with young people in all capacities & supporting them to learn and grow in all aspects of life.
My Experience
After finishing my degree I worked as a teaching assistant in various primary schools in the local area. Whilst at university, I worked for 8 months as a remote English and Maths Tutor for children aged 6-16, working with various abilities and additional needs, including autism and ADHD. I also work seasonally as a Senior Staff Member/ Group Leader at day camp for children in the holidays - running sports, drama and craft activities, as well as being the go-to adult for a designated group of children, helping them with any needs they may have. I am now a fully qualified secondary school English Teacher heading into my first year of teaching. I have vast experience working with children in a wide variety of settings.
My Qualifications
I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature, and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Secondary English Teaching. I have a paediatric first aid qualification, as well as an enhanced DBS check.
My Availability
I am available all evenings and occasional weekends, as well as some school holiday availability. I am looking for ad hoc work to fit around my work.
