Hi! My name is Jaydene, I’m 23 years old and I have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. ??
I’m currently working as a Nursery Practitioner in Dagenham, where I’ve been gaining valuable experience since 2022. I’m also working towards my Level 3 childcare qualification.
I currently work within the toddler room but also regularly work alongside babies and preschool-aged children, giving me experience supporting children at different stages of their development.
Alongside my nursery experience, I have also volunteered with children with additional needs through a school holiday programme at The Bethel Experience.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, heard and understood. I take safeguarding extremely seriously and believe that every child deserves someone who will advocate for them, respect their individuality and encourage them to reach their full potential.
I’m a caring, patient, reliable and creative person who enjoys doing fun activities, exploring the outdoors, arts and crafts, imaginative play and helping children learn through play.
I’m particularly interested in part-time nannying, babysitting, evening and weekend childcare, as well as school holiday opportunities.
I’m also keen to build long-term relationships with families and become someone they can trust and rely on.

My Experience
I have been gaining experience in childcare since 2020, both professionally and through private childcare arrangements with families.
I initially started by collecting twin boys from school and babysitting them twice a week. This was something I thoroughly enjoyed and helped me develop my confidence in caring for children independently.
I also have experience providing school pick-up and drop-off support for a parent through my current nursery, as well as occasional babysitting for my aunt’s three foster children, aged 7, 9 and 11.
Since 2022, I have continued developing my childcare experience within a nursery setting, working with babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children.
I also have voluntary experience supporting children with additional needs through a school holiday programme.
These experiences have helped me develop my patience, reliability, communication skills and ability to adapt to different children’s individual needs. I genuinely enjoy building positive relationships with children and creating a safe, happy environment where they can feel comfortable and supported.
My Qualifications
I am currently working towards my Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare.
I have several years of hands-on experience working with children, both within a professional nursery setting and through private babysitting and childcare arrangements.
I have also completed paediatric first aid training and have voluntary experience supporting children with additional needs.
My Availability
My availability is currently as follows:
* Monday: 6pm onwards
* Tuesday: 6pm onwards
* Wednesday: 4pm onwards
* Thursday: 5pm onwards
* Friday: Available
* Saturday: Available
* Sunday: Available, subject to prior arrangements.
I’m particularly interested in regular babysitting, evening childcare, weekend bookings and school holiday opportunities.
I’m happy to discuss regular arrangements with families and would love to find a long-term position that works well for everyone.
