My Requirements

Our son will be one this summer and due to a return to work I will be needing full time childcare for him. I will be working in a school and so will be looking for childcare that fits into these hours, 8-4/9-4, 5 days a week during term time and will not need childcare during school holidays. There is no expectation to do any cleaning/maintenance around our home, solely to take care of our son. He is a happy, loving, baby and we are as responsive as we can be, and would need to find someone who shares our parenting values. We don’t allow any screen time and this is very important for us, we prefer to engage 1-1 with our son and encourage him to play with toys and read lots of stories together. We don’t allow for any sort of controlled crying/cry it out and we would expect his care to hold this same value and respond as soon as possible with love and enthusiasm. There is no requirement to drive, but we would like someone to take him to the park/days out and expenses for this would be covered. Experience working with/having young children is preferable but we are open to discuss this and arrange some ‘training’ days with him and us present if needed! Most importantly, we would like to find someone who can be like a friend to him! and that he can have fun with! Building a good rapport with him and us is crucial! This role would be starting in September 2024.
