About Me

Hi, I’m Amanda, I’m 39 and live on the Black Isle with my husband, Kenny, and our two little girls, Summer who is 3 and Molly who is just 7 weeks old. I’m originally from Orkney, so I’m very much a proud island girl at heart!

I’m currently studying Adult Nursing through UHI in Inverness and am looking for childcare to support me while I attend my clinical placements. My placement schedule is intermittent throughout the year, usually consisting of 2–3 blocks within the academic year. The placement blocks can vary in length, generally ranging from around 5 to 10 weeks.

I’m looking for someone caring, reliable and trustworthy who would be happy to provide childcare during these placement periods. As the placements are arranged throughout the year, the childcare would not necessarily be required on a regular, year-round basis, but rather for specific blocks of time.

Summer is a fun, lively 3-year-old who loves being kept busy, and Molly is our newest addition and is currently just 7 weeks old. I’m happy to provide more information about our routine, the days and hours required, and the placement arrangements when contacted.

We’re a friendly family and would love to find someone who feels like the right fit for our family and who we can build a good relationship with over time.
