About Me
My name is Tessa and my husband is called Alex, we currently have one two year old son Sebastain and we are expecting a little girl in June this year. I work in the flower industry, splitting my time between London and Yorkshire and my husband works in finance in central London. Alex is from Australia but has lived in the UK for over 10 years now, and my family is from the Netherlands but I was born and grew up in the UK. We both enjoy travel, exercise, cooking and spending quality time as a family.

We are a warm, friendly family moving to Barnes (SW13) and are looking for a kind, reliable nanny to support our family from June 2026 onwards for approximately 20 hours per week.
About us
We are Tessa and Alex, and we have a little boy, Sebastian, who will be 2 years old in May. We are also expecting a baby girl in mid?June. Sebastian will be starting nursery in Barnes in August, so our main need will be wrap?around care alongside nursery, as well as some support with our baby daughter.
The role
We are ideally looking for someone happy to care for one or two children, depending on the day. The role would include:
Wrap?around care for Sebastian (morning and/or afternoon) around 3 days per week
Some daytime care for our baby daughter
One weekday evening (likely every other week)
Occasional weekend hours (every other weekend, either an afternoon or evening)
Most care will be during the week, but we would love someone flexible enough to help with occasional weekend or evening care.
I work 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home, so there is flexibility around exact timings. From January onwards, when I return to work, we are likely either to place our daughter in nursery or, if the right nanny were willing, to offer additional hours until around March, when we expect her to be able to join Sebastian at the same nursery. Overall, we expect the role to average around 20 hours per week, but we are open to discussion. I have ticked the days and times below as an example of one week once the children are in nursery.
Additional hours
If a candidate would like more hours, we would be open to combining the role with light cleaning or household help, as we will also be looking for a cleaner.
