My Requirements

I’m looking for a reliable person to help with school/childminder collections for my two children on some weekday afternoons/evenings.

The exact days will vary because my office days aren’t fixed.

Both children attend childcare/school close to each other in Brentwood. The role would involve collecting the younger child around 5:30pm, driving to school to collect the older child around 5:40pm, and then driving both children home (around 15 minutes).

When I am working from home, you would simply drop the children home with me and leave — the whole journey from the childminder, via school, to home is around 30-40 minutes.

When I am working from the office, you would stay with the children at home after dropping them off until I or my husband arrives, normally around 6-6:30pm and occasionally as late as 7–7:30pm.

The children will already have had dinner, so there is no cooking required. They may want a snack and will generally just play while waiting for us. We will take over when we arrive and do their usual evening routine.

I’m looking for someone who would be interested in a small number of hours each month, with occasionally additional hours, when my work schedule requires. I can usually give notice of the days needed in advance, although the days will vary.

A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.
